All accommodation is offered subject to availability at the time of receipt of the deposit, and at the quoted tariffs.

Breakfast is between 0700 hrs – 0900 hrs and no allowances can be made for meals not taken.

We cannot accept children under 5.

Rooms must be vacated by 10.30 am on the day of departure.

'Hertford B & B' cannot accept responsibility for loss of guests’ property.

Accounts must be paid in full on arrival.  Cheques will only be accepted if prior arrangements have been made with the proprietor to allow for bank clearance.

Registration cards must be filled on arrival as is required by law.

In the event of any cancellation or curtailment, and should the accommodations not be re-let, the person who made this reservation with this establishment and whose name appears on the booking form will be liable to pay for the total cost of the reservation.

Deposits are not refundable under any circumstances, but will be deductible from any claim for compensation arising out of cancellation or curtailment of the contract.

If the deposit has been paid using a credit or debit card authorised account number, then any payment due owing to cancellation, curtailment or damage will also be made on this same account.  The card holder will be notified of any such transaction.

The 'Hertford  B & B' reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is a part to that contract cause any detriment to the premises or to the well being or comfort of other guests.

There is NO SMOKING within the 'Hertford B & B' anywhere, this is a UK legal requirement.

Surcharges are applicable for one nights stay, single/under occupancy.

If you cancel Your Booking within 72 hours of the scheduled Check-in time we require the full balance of Your stay. If you cancel Your booking more than 72 hours before arrival then 50% of the first nights accommodation taken at Booking will not be refunded.

The Hertford B & B cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage of property or vehicles in the car park located at the rear of the 'Hertford B & B'.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Solo, Switch and cash payments. Please note a 1.5% surcharge applies to payments by credit card but 0% for debit cards.

Other than for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or misrepresentation, our total liability to you is limited to the price of the Booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are excluded and in no circumstances will we be responsible for any indirect or special damages.

We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond our reasonable control. You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to us or our property by your act, omission, default or neglect and you agree to indemnify us and to pay us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss.
